RNLI
At the headquarters of the RNLI in Poole. Thinking Space have recently manufactured and installed a new control room which included admin storage, five large consoles, an enclosure for six unit rear projectors and a mobile chart table.Task lighting was also supplied as part of several additions once the project started, this also included the replacement of the radiator covers and window sills to match the console finishes. The room was designed so that all services and power for the consoles could come from the the side walls of the office .
Bristol City Council
A full turnkey control room solution has been recently completed for Bristol City Council. The scope of works included in the new Urban Traffic Control Centre covered the supply of technical furniture as well as a complete office fit out.
The project was won under standard tender conditions. The work included new floors, ceiling, lighting and r-build of the room. The monitor wall design was created to maximize flexibility as it is expected to be expanded at a later date. The panel work for the console and wall were powder coated as the client had a specific finished requirement . In total eight operator positions have been created.
